Shipping policy

We want you to feel confident and delighted when receiving your artwork. Each order is carefully packaged with the utmost care and attention to detail to ensure it arrives safely and in pristine condition. This Shipping Policy has been prepared in accordance with the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 and the Fair Trading Act 1986 of New Zealand, to support transparency, reliability, and peace of mind for our customers.


Domestic Shipping (New Zealand)

All orders are processed Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays). If your order is placed before 12 noon, we aim to dispatch it the same business day. Orders placed after this cut-off will be dispatched on the following business day.

Orders within New Zealand are shipped using GoSweetSpot or Pack & Send, depending on the item. Limited edition prints are sent via GoSweetSpot using trusted domestic couriers, while original paintings, framed artworks, and outdoor pieces—requiring custom packaging—are handled with care through Pack & Send for safe and secure delivery.

Estimated delivery timeframes:

  • North Island: 1–3 working days

  • South Island: 2–5 working days
    (Please allow additional time for rural addresses.)

Once dispatched, you will receive a tracking number to follow your parcel’s progress. For security, all orders are sent with signature required. If no one is available to sign for your parcel, a calling card will be left with collection instructions.

In the rare event that a product is not currently in stock, we will notify you directly to discuss availability and delivery timeframes.


International Shipping

We ship internationally using GoSweetSpot’s network of trusted courier partners for limited edition prints. For original paintings, framed artworks, and outdoor pieces requiring custom packaging, we partner with Pack & Send to ensure safe, secure, and fully trackable delivery. Shipping times and costs will vary depending on your location and the size and nature of your order.

Please note:

  • International orders may be subject to local customs duties, taxes, or import fees, which are the responsibility of the recipient.

  • If applicable, these charges must be paid by you before your order can be released for final delivery.

You will be provided with a tracking number once your order has been collected by the courier.

If the product you’ve ordered is temporarily unavailable, we will be in touch promptly to advise on availability and expected delivery timelines.


Outdoor Artwork Shipping (Made to Order)

Outdoor Artworks are individually made to order and require approximately 6–8 weeks for production. Once ready, we’ll arrange secure packaging and custom delivery via Pack & Send. A team member will contact you directly to organise this, ensuring your artwork arrives safely.


Packaging & Delivery Notes

We take great care to ensure all artworks arrive safely and securely. All items are packaged using appropriate protective materials.

Please note:

  • Only unframed limited edition prints and original paintings are shipped.

  • Framing services are not available at this time.

  • Commissioned artworks may require additional time to dispatch — we will communicate timelines clearly during the commission process.


Damaged Parcels

If your order arrives damaged, please notify us within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the damage and packaging. We’ll work with the courier service to resolve the issue and offer a suitable solution — whether that be a replacement, repair, or refund (as appropriate).


Missing Parcels

If your parcel has not arrived within the estimated timeframe following dispatch, please contact us at hello@kirstynixon.co.nz

Delivery timeframes are based on business days, beginning the day after you receive your shipping notification.

Once the maximum timeframe has passed and your parcel has not arrived, we will lodge an enquiry with the courier provider. Their investigation can take up to 48–72 hours.

If the courier confirms the parcel is lost in transit, we will offer you a store credit or full refund, based on your preference.
